Ngulburnan, yuriyawi  “Waterhole”

This brooch represents the river system with the running water in between waterholes.

Ngulburnan, yuriyawi is in Wiradjuri Language which means waterhole.  Wiradjuri is an area where grew up Dubbo NSW.

The brooch is entirely Sterling Silver and aprox 4.38cm long and 2.7 cm wide with the pin being aprox 2.6cm long.  The brooch would look lovely on a scarf or shirt it has a curved shape similar to a Coolamon.  This is a one off piece so be quick it is the only one.

All the designs in this shop are symbols used in Aboriginal culture and are made by myself, I am an Aboriginal Jewellery Artist who descendants are from Kooma Tribe which is in the Cunnamulla area.
